Who is Fabio? Fabio is the only Italian ultracycler to step 3 times onto the RAAM podium. RAAM (the Race Across America), with more than 5,000 km from the west coast to the east coast of the United States, is the longest and toughest annual endurance race in the world. Fabio is the only Italian and one of few other ultracyclers in the world who have finished RAAM in fewer than 9 days. Fabio is the first Italian to take part in RAAM eleven times. Fabio is the first Italian ultracycler winner of the World Cycling Cup, Ultra Cycling Cup and European Cycling Cup. Fabio is the man who has pedaled one million kilometers during his career, competing in many races all around the world. UMCA (Ultra Marathon Cycling Association) appointed Fabio as the UMCA representative for southern Europe, recognizing him as the ultracycler who can best convey the values and significance of this sport.
